SchuF is an international medium-sized industrial valve company with its headquarters located close to Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The company was founded 1911 and is a family run business in 4th generation. Over the last 30 years SchuF has expanded both its sales offices and manufacturing facilities. We now manufacture in Germany, Great Britain, India, Ireland, Italy and the United States. There are independent SchuF distribution companies in Benelux, Brazil, China (Beijing, Chengdu, Hongkong and Wuhan), Dubai and Thailand. Our world wide network of local agents make it easy for our customers to always find a competent contact person nearby. We deliver to customers in more than 65 countries worldwide.
Our major is the construction and manufacturing of customized process critical special valves. The ability of our engineers to adapt the SchuF valve to almost any critical or severe process is well established in the Chemical, Refining, Pharmaceutical, Plastic and Polymers, Mining, Aluminium and Power Industries. In several markets we have been known as the global market leader for many years. SchuF has its own patents and is recognized in the international market as an innovative company.
Each of our production facilities have between 20 and 160 employees. Ever since the company was founded we have been an equal opportunities employer. Approximately 50% of our workforce is female, while management roles are undertaken by both males and females respectively. We also boast a high level of multi-culturism and religious backrounds in our workforce. Our employees hail from many countries around the world such as Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, Morocco, Syria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Brazil, Italy, Poland, Russia, China, Scotland, Greece and many more.
The two main languages utilized in the day to day running of the business are German and English, with English being our main international language. However, with such a high level of diversity we are capable of communicating in a wide range of languages.
SchuF has a flat hierarchy which means that lines to management are very short. The creation and development of new ideas are desired and promoted in our company. With flexibility and effort, young engineers can often be promoted to management positions at production sites as well as taking on key roles at foreign subsidiaries. Most of our management positions are held by people who started in normal functions in the SchuF Group.
Interchange jobs between different international production sites can be an option for all departments. Furthermore, there are often opportunities for international business travel.
Currently we are updating our computer system to the latest version.
At our workshops we are using the latest technology. Currently we strive for a modern manufacturing to 4.0 and invest in a parametric CAD/CAM and configuration system. Our goal is to be able to produce technical, innovative and special solutions both automated and standardized in the future.
